PRODEVAL opened its first subsidiary in Genoa, Italy in 2018. Headed by Luca Barbato, Managing Director, PRODEVAL ITALIA has successfully established itself in the heart of a territory committed to the Biogas sector.

"We strongly believe in the Italian market, and for this reason we have established operational headquarters in Genoa, investing the necessary resources to develop this important market », said Sébastien Paolozzi, CEO of PRODEVAL.

In 2018, National energy strategy in Italy is favorable to the development of the biogas sector. The European Commission has approved the implementation of an aid scheme to support the production of biomethane and biofuels in the country, to achieve the European energy and climate change objectives. The scheme will encourage biofuel and biomethane production from manure and other agricultural residues, to use them to power farm machinery, enabling Italy to become Europe's 3rd largest biomethane producer.

The creation of PRODEVAL ITALIA allows us to have technicians stationed throughout the country in order to respond effectively to our customers' demands.
