VALOPUR converts Biogas from the Anaerobic Digestion of organic waste into Biomethane / RNG, ready to be injected into the national natural gas network
VALOPUR range is compatible with different types of installations, from 40 Nm3/h to 3,500 Nm3/h Biogas flow
Installations are fully equipped and linked to a programmable logic controller, with an innovative program developed by PRODEVAL optimising performance
In 2014, PRODEVAL pioneered a membrane upgrading process for Biogas. This technology relies on the use of membranes that are the most suitable for customer needs and available on the market, which boast upgrading efficiency in excess of 99.5%.
Each facility will have its own specifications and expectations. With this in mind, our engineers offer personalised projects centred around efficient solutions which best meet the needs of operators.
Automation delivers unique ease of use, featuring:
- A monitoring tool letting you view all operating parameters in real-time
- The option of controlling these parameters remotely (either by the operator or by PRODEVAL support)

After the digester and pretreatment process, the compressed gas undergoes further filtration within VALOPUR.
This is a compact unit housed within a pre-equipped container and composed of three stages of membranes which separate CO2 from CH4.
This system allows to produce Biomethane / RNG compliant to network specifications, with upgrading efficiency up to 99.5%. PRODEVAL selects the most suitable membranes available on the market to meet the specific needs of our customers. The three stages membrane system deliver operational flexibility, ensure optimal upgrading efficiency across the unit’s operating range.
Once purified, Biomethane / RNG is channeled towards the grid injection station which is connected to the natural gas network.

VALOPUR DFM - Design For Manufacturing & Maintenance
VALOPUR DFM (Design For Manufacturing & Maintenance) was developed by our engineering department with new strengths in terms of modularity, ease of maintenance, and replicability across all territories.
Designed in skid format, VALOPUR DFM has the same performance as VALOPUR in container format: 99.5% purification efficiency, type B / H biomethane, guaranteed availability of over 97% with restart in less than 72 hours, low power consumption…

The ALLIANCE project aims to equip the Biogas sector with the world's first large-scale assembly line for Biogas upgrading systems and BioCO2 liquefaction.
By combining the expertise of the leader in Biogas treatment and upgrading with the expertise of the European leader in the design, industrialization, and manufacture of critical electrical/industrial equipment, this project aims to strengthen the local industrial production base in the South of France (Drôme - 26).
Through the development of an optimized design for the purifier (VALOPUR® DFM - Design For Manufacturing), the ALLIANCE project aims to generalize the commercialization of decarbonization and CO2 capture equipment (our V’COOL® solution) to global energy companies, as well as to optimize production costs, manufacturing times, product quality, and equipment modularity via a new automated and connected assembly line.
PRODEVAL, AVENTECH, and INSA Lyon are joining forces to offer decarbonized and sustainable industrial solutions in the energy sector.
